Our Geriatric Services specialize in Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) which incorporates assessing multiple health issues associated with increasing age. A timely assessment by a Geriatrician helps you maintain your health and independence.
We offer assessment and management of
- Memory problems
- Dementia including Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD)
- Complex multiple medical conditions which impact on function
- Polypharmacy (Use of multiple medications)
- Mobility problems: Falls and balance issues, prevention & management of Osteoporosis
- Perioperative issues
- Incontinence
This is done through a management plan that is discussed with you and communicated to your GP.
